Senior Branch Manager - Perinton Branch

Location: Fairport, New York, United States of America; onsite position

Salary: $89,600–$149,300 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, operating performance, profitability, customer experience, employee experience, digital engagement, transactions, servicing, and sales.
• Direct sales and business development activities to achieve annual sales and profitability goals, including proactive outreach and community presence.
• Lead, coach, recruit, select, and develop branch staff; manage performance, promotions, salary recommendations, and related staffing decisions.
• Identify retail and business banking needs, recommend products and services, and independently process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000.
• Maintain operational, security, compliance, audit, fraud-prevention, and customer-asset protection standards.
• Own complex account servicing, error resolution, customer issues, and employee issues through complete resolution while partnering across the bank.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and at least two years of managerial experience or proven leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months of entering the position, with branch training provided within six months.
• M&T Business Banking Specialist qualification within 18 months of hire.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use common PC software, including Microsoft Office for word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to maintain SAFE Act federal registration requirements, stay current on operational, product, and system changes, and make sound risk management decisions.
