Senior Commercial FP&A Analyst, EMEA (AI)

Location: Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom (on-site); 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Provide analytical support to EMEA senior leadership and OpEx leadership teams, including recommendations for proactive decision-making.
• Support month-end activities for EMEA OpEx departments and analyze cost drivers and headcount.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, weekly flash reporting, variance presentations, and summaries for EMEA Finance Leadership.
• Evaluate revenue and margin performance and support prioritization of OpEx investments through financial analysis and ROI modelling.
• Lead reporting, BI, AI, automation, and analytics best practices across the EMEA FP&A team.
• Partner with Finance leaders, regional teams, and local markets to ensure consistent reporting and communication of financial and commercial drivers.

Requirements

• Qualified ACMA, ACCA, ACA Accountant or equivalent.
• Strong experience working with commercial teams.
• Likely to have more than 4 years of post-qualified experience.
• Hands-on close and financial experience with a broad technical background in US GAAP and an understanding of regional and corporate finance drivers.
• Direct, hands-on experience creating, tracking, and controlling actual, forecast, and budget metrics.
• Proven ability to analyze actual-versus-plan results, explain variance drivers, and provide clear interpretations to management.
• Experience using AI tools to strengthen analytics and decision-making.
• Experience working for a European subsidiary of a US multinational.
• Experience working with individual contributors, Directors, and President-level staff at executive, global, or regional leadership levels, within a matrix organization.
• Commercial and strategic focus, adaptability, solution-oriented thinking, and executive presence.
