Full Stack Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: EUR 55,000–60,000 yearly

NIQ Cadence develops a compound AI operating system for marketing effectiveness, combining Marketing Mix Modeling, budget optimization, and LLM agents. CadenceIO is the operator UI used to load media data, run models, and publish results to brands.

What you will do

• Deliver features end to end by writing designs, building Angular screens and FastAPI endpoints, and deploying to Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Build interfaces for large datasets, including multi-step wizards, editable tables, charts, and live model-job logs.
• Implement Figma designs using design-system tokens and make screens accessible to WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Define frontend structure, folder layout, and state management with NgRx and Angular signals; review pull requests and improve frontend conventions.
• Fix QA and operator defects, deciding whether changes belong in the client or API, and release features and hotfixes to production.
• Collaborate with product engineers, designers, frontend and backend engineers, QA engineers, and operators while adopting the team’s software engineering and AI-assisted development principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily on the frontend, including 3+ years with Angular.
• 2+ years of backend development in Python, including production APIs, PostgreSQL, and Alembic migrations.
• Strong TypeScript, RxJS, and state-management experience with NgRx or Angular signals.
• Experience building UIs with data grids, charts, and complex reactive forms, including accessible WCAG 2.1 AA interfaces implemented from Figma designs.
• Experience with REST APIs on both client and server, including request and response schemas, validation, error status codes, and pagination.
• Experience with Polars or pandas and exporting tabular data to Excel workbooks.
• Experience with unit tests and end-to-end tests using Playwright or Cypress.
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise, including deploying a service and finding the cause of pod failures.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol servers or other tools that allow an LLM agent to call an API, code reviews with specific actionable comments, and clear explanations of technical decisions to product engineers and designers.
