Donor Relationship Specialist

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma, United States. On-site.

What you will do

• Maintain consistent, personalized communication with an assigned portfolio of mid-level donors, including acknowledgments, gratitude, impact communications, and responses to inquiries.
• Recognize donor milestones and develop stewardship plans using calls, notes, event invitations, and other engagement touchpoints.
• Recommend qualifying donors for handoff to the Donor Relationship Manager and support giving-tier upgrade campaigns and asks.
• Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM and coordinate communications, events, and campaigns with the Director of Donor Relations and other team members.
• Monitor giving patterns, proactively re-engage donors at risk of lapsing, and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
• Track and report portfolio metrics, including retention rate, upgrade rate, and acknowledgment turnaround time.

• Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems innovatively.
• Highly effective multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain meaningful donor relationships through personalized communication, consistent engagement, and thoughtful stewardship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–3 years of experience in donor relations, relationship management, or a related field.
• Ministry readiness and the capacity to represent hirify.global beliefs are required for staff positions.
