Technology Portfolio Delivery Director

Location: The Frame, 74–75 Baggot Street, Dublin, Ireland; hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Lead delivery of the hirify.global Health & Benefits applications portfolio spanning global broking, analytics, portals, and mobile applications, including multi-country rollouts and post-production support.
• Partner with business product owners to define the portfolio strategy and prioritize developments addressing obsolescence, quality, deployment agility, and cyber risk.
• Oversee initiatives from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget and quality standards.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships, including C-Suite business stakeholders, product owners, and globally distributed technology teams.
• Manage and develop Technical Delivery Managers responsible for products within the portfolio.
• Support direct-to-consumer and employee-facing applications, large-scale migration planning, phased integration into the target operating model, technical debt management, zero trust architecture, and secure software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience and expertise.
• Significant experience in senior Technology Delivery and Programme Management roles within enterprise and/or consumer software product companies.
• Proven ability to lead complex delivery across vendor and in-house-built technology solutions.
• Strong business analysis, project management, technical leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently and drive execution across globally distributed, highly matrixed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development, including relevant tools and practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or health broking, or a strong track record in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of AI and its application to the software development life cycle.
