Senior AI Native Software Engineer (Identity & Trust)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; hybrid, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional onsite attendance as needed.

Salary: CAD 152,000–190,000 annual base salary; equity and other total compensation components may also be offered.

What you will do

• Build complete applications, workflow automations, and basic agents within the product area using AI coding agents.
• Translate customer needs into specifications and ship solutions from requirements through deployment.
• Instrument solutions to track usage and outcomes, then iterate based on analytics.
• Evaluate AI-generated output against security, privacy, reliability, and quality standards.
• Participate in customer conversations to identify acute problems and automation opportunities.
• Document effective prompts, approaches, and reusable patterns for the team.

Requirements

• Proficiency with AI coding agents for end-to-end application development.
• Ability to write effective prompts and iterate to achieve desired outcomes.
• Understanding of full-stack applications across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs, databases, queues, and common architectural patterns.
• Awareness of fundamental design principles, common UI/UX patterns, and basic product development concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret usage metrics, conversion rates, and error rates.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.
