Manager, EMEA Community (Contract)

Location: Remote - United Kingdom. The fixed-term contract engagement is open to candidates based in the UK.

What you will do

• Craft and champion the EMEA community strategy in alignment with team and business goals.
• Iterate, innovate, and scale community and moderator growth playbooks across focus markets.
• Lead, coach, recruit, onboard, and train regional Community Specialists.
• Collaborate with Growth, Product, Engineering, Content, and safety partners on market initiatives.
• Translate strategy into quarterly and sprint priorities, ownership, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Own community-health and growth outcomes, including KPI progression, moderator coverage and retention, and the impact of community-building initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in community management or marketing operations, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving community growth and delivering business impact through community-led or marketing projects.
• Strong organization and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
• Problem-solving ability and excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams and influencing a community-first mindset.
• Comfort testing, iterating, and adjusting strategies for different markets.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and experiment with different approaches in focus markets.
• Data-driven and results-oriented approach, with the ability to translate insights into action.
• Deep understanding of Reddit’s identity and the role of communities and moderators in adding platform value and improving user experiences.

Nice to have

• Experience moderating on Reddit or similar platforms, such as Discord, Facebook, or other forums.
