Entry-Level Structural Engineer (Buildings)

Location: Hybrid, New York, United States — NYC office at 32 Old Slip

Base compensation: $38.00–$42.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work with project teams on structural design and analysis for building projects from conceptual and preliminary design through completion.
• Design and analyze structures involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assist with the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field reviews for projects under construction.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering is required, with a focus on structures preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in commercial, institutional, or residential projects is preferred.

• Demonstrated collaboration experience in a diverse and inclusive team working toward technical excellence.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Passing the E.I.T. exam.
• Familiarity with Revit Structure.
• Familiarity with computer analysis software such as RISA, SAP, or RAM.
