Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Rothschild, United States; onsite during the training period, followed by a hybrid schedule.

Salary: USD $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Verify, post, and process customer payments, including checks and credit card transactions.
• Prepare checks for bank remote deposit processing and accurately record deposit amounts.
• Process returned payments, customer refunds, account adjustments, and dealer funding adjustments.
• Process end-of-day dealer funding and ACH NACHA bank files.
• Reconcile daily bank activity with the general ledger and investigate variances.
• Research payment discrepancies, past-due amounts, customer complaints, and queries, proposing appropriate solutions.

Requirements

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional and technical journals, financial reports, policies and procedures, and applicable legal documents.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, fractions, decimals, proportions, and percentages.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicable role-specific development or design software.
• Ability to attend work promptly and regularly, follow direction, collaborate effectively, work under deadline pressure, concentrate, maintain accuracy, and respond productively to change.
