OFCI Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
• Monitor day-to-day field activities, information flow, progress, quality, safety, and issue tracking.
• Coordinate handover planning and documentation, including snagging activities with clients, consultants, contractors, and partners.
• Lead on-site progress monitoring and promote safe work practices.
• Implement, monitor, and improve project processes and procedures with the client.
• Lead project meetings, resolve issues, communicate impacts, and review proposed variations and delays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing large, complex, MEP-heavy construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CSA, MEP systems, local codes, and statutory requirements, including breaker coordination, switchgear operations, and cooling systems.
• Experience with contractor and vendor management, including RFPs, bidding, and change orders; design management; and general project administration.
• Experience on international projects with awareness of cultural and DE&I considerations.
• Familiarity with local construction laws, building codes, and AHJ processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to work in a collaborative, open, and purpose-driven environment.
• Project management certification, such as PMP, or active progress toward certification.
