Supply Chain Specialist (Medical Devices)

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; role based in Weert, Netherlands. Candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance of the Weert office and work onsite at least two days per week.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve end-to-end international supply chain processes across planning, inventory management, forecasting, logistics, distribution, and order fulfilment.
• Identify inefficiencies, implement improved ways of working, and lead complex transformation initiatives across multiple countries and regions.
• Work with Supply Chain, Commercial, Customer Care, Finance, Quality, IT, and external partners to support operational execution and strategic improvement.
• Support Orion and future system implementations by translating business requirements into scalable processes and solutions.
• Design future-state processes, anticipate the impact of initiatives, balance immediate needs with long-term improvements, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Support the transition from distributor-based models to direct distribution models and regional growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of supply chain, logistics, distribution, order fulfilment, inventory management, and order-to-cash processes in an international environment.
• Strong process ownership skills, including the ability to design, document, implement, govern, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes.
• Strong ERP, reporting, and systems capabilities, including translating business needs into functional requirements and partnering effectively with IT.
• Excellent analytical skills, including interpreting complex data, identifying trends, quantifying impact, assessing trade-offs, and developing actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated project-management and change-management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives without formal authority.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including presenting complex operational and system topics to peers, senior leaders, and external partners.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction while collaborating across regions, functions, and external partners.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and reporting-tool capability for analysis, management reporting, and executive presentations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and application of Quality System Regulations, GMP, ISO, privacy, trade, customs, and other applicable compliance requirements.
• Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience transitioning from distributor-based models to direct distribution models and supporting regional growth initiatives.
