Trading Data Software Engineer (Java/Python)

What you will do

• Build and maintain applications and automations for data curators, VMM developers, traders, and researchers.
• Develop tooling to ingest, curate, and expose high-quality fundamental option pricing data.
• Support rapid onboarding of new datasets and enable research into new trading strategies.
• Contribute to the architectural design of a young central data platform.
• Write, test, deploy, and maintain reliable, high-performance software with daily deployments.
• Build a globally accessible system capable of serving petabytes of data.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java 11 or newer; experience with the latest Java versions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• Strong Python programming skills, especially for data-related work.
• Experience with data analysis and building data platforms.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and take full ownership of applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.

Nice to have

• Experience with the latest versions of Java.
• Experience with Python, especially around data.
• Experience working in data analysis and building data platforms.
