IPS MY Senior Network Engineer (Enterprise Networking)

Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia; willingness to travel when required. Operational support may be required during US time-zone hours.

What you will do

• Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, switching, routing, wireless, VoIP, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and other network infrastructure.
• Provide Level 3 engineering support, advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex network issues.
• Operate FortiGate firewalls and Cisco Nexus 7000/9000 data center switching environments, including Spine-Leaf network fabrics.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, VRF, VRF leaking, SD-WAN, and IPsec site-to-site VPNs.
• Support network changes, upgrades, maintenance, infrastructure projects, and NDBS US Data Center Migration activities.
• Monitor network health, performance, capacity, and traffic trends; maintain documentation; and collaborate with Server, Storage, Backup, Security, Cloud, and Data Center teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, preferably in enterprise or data center environments.
• Strong Level 3 network engineering, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Cisco Nexus 7000/9000, data center switching, and Spine-Leaf architecture.
• Strong FortiGate experience, including policies, NAT, VPN, high availability, troubleshooting, and CLI.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, VRF/VRF leaking, and network security.
• Experience with SD-WAN and IPsec site-to-site VPN.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP networking.
• Experience supporting global teams, including US time-zone operations, incidents, changes, and projects; strong English communication and international collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with Network, Server, Storage, Backup, Security, Cloud, and other infrastructure teams to resolve end-to-end issues.
• Willingness to work in Cyberjaya, Selangor, and travel when required.
