Senior Network Engineer

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; onsite role based in Jakarta, Indonesia

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain resilient enterprise network architectures across multiple regions using Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, SD-WAN, WLAN, and VPN technologies.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives including office builds, expansions, and integrations with AWS, GCP, and Azure for scalable hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Develop reference architectures, design principles, network standards, technology roadmaps, and governance processes.
• Lead complex incident resolution and service restoration while managing ISP and vendor partnerships for site launches and service delivery.
• Develop operational tools, automate manual processes, and improve observability and technical knowledge sharing across GTS teams.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience managing large-scale enterprise environments, including end-to-end design, implementation, and troubleshooting of routing, switching, and SD-WAN solutions across global sites.
• Expertise in security frameworks including NGFW, VPN, and WAF, plus large-scale Wi-Fi architectures and access-layer security with Cisco ISE and ClearPass.
• Hands-on experience integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco, Zscaler, and F5 Load Balancers.
• Proficiency in network automation and observability using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Cursor, Claude Code, SolarWinds, Grafana, and Zabbix.
• CCNP- or JNCIP-level certification or equivalent professional expertise.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and explaining complex technical concepts as actionable business solutions.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-compliance sectors such as Financial Services.
