Financial Accountant

What you will do

• Own the full financial reporting cycle for multiple European legal entities, including monthly financial statements, trial balance reviews, and monthly reporting.
• Prepare revenue and regulatory filings under US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Manage outsourced payroll providers, local payroll, and monthly employer tax reporting.
• Coordinate global transfer pricing activities and annual country-level documentation with external providers.
• Provide multi-currency data for weekly, monthly, and forecast working capital requirements and perform budget-to-actual analysis.
• Support audits, corporation taxation requirements, team leads, and ad hoc projects across the Accounting team.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with an accounting qualification; newly qualified candidates or candidates with 2–3 years of experience in a similar environment are considered.
• Proven experience in Accounts roles or functions and strong financial accounting knowledge.
• Knowledge of IFRS, FRS102, and EU VAT regulation and reporting.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing.
• Proficient MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Ability to work in an international remote team and communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage priorities, take initiative, and work with quality, flexibility, commitment, and enthusiasm as a team player.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Workday or similar ERP software.
