Business Advisor - Bilingual (Financial Services)

Location: Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia, Canada; virtual work with occasional on-site attendance and the ability to reach the primary work location within two hours for business-related purposes.

What you will do

• Engage with new, existing, and prospective business clients by phone and video to understand needs, fulfill service requests, and provide advice.
• Assess and recommend cash management, lending, deposit, and GIC products while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare credit analyses and recommendations, capture financial information, and complete documentation in line with lending and risk policies.
• Refer high-value or complex client needs to Relationship Managers, Imperial Service, Credit Risk Management, and Retail Lending Services.
• Promote ATM, Mobile, and SmartBanking for Business as alternative digital banking options.

Requirements

• Experience in a professional, fast-paced sales and service environment, preferably in financial services or a client contact centre.
• Well-developed knowledge of business banking products and services, credit analysis, and credit risk management principles.
• Fluency in French and English to support business operations outside Quebec, Canada.
• Ability to work independently from a secure home workspace with a closable door and wired internet providing at least 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds; satellite internet is not permitted.
• Ability to work flexible hours on a rotating basis, including within the BCAC operating hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET, and Saturday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM ET.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Canadian location and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
