Delivery Manager - Public Sector

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with two days per week on client site.

What you will do

• Support the formation and running of high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Deliver products and projects using appropriate delivery methodologies, iterating frequently and applying best practices.
• Set and maintain high standards for Delivery Management, quality, and attention to detail.
• Lead stakeholder engagement activities and facilitate collaboration and communication.
• Use team metrics to improve throughput and inform clients about delivery performance.
• Support client delivery of complex products, services, and outcomes across public-sector, defence, infrastructure, and transport engagements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in agile delivery consulting or related roles.
• Experience working in the public sector or with public-sector clients; defence experience will also be considered.
• Experience and knowledge of estimating, scoping, and delivering products, services, and outcomes using a variety of delivery techniques and methods.
• Experience working on technical or engineering projects using Agile Delivery methods.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems and make informed decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling successful collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience or certification in project management or project controls methodologies, such as PMQ or PRINCE2.
