IT Specialist (Networking)

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain local and wide area network infrastructure, including hubs, modems, switches, network appliances, routers, and VPN infrastructure.
• Use network management tools to monitor network health and performance.
• Maintain network circuitry and enterprise wiring infrastructure, including frame relay, broadband, satellite, fiber, UTP, wireless, and network racks.
• Isolate and resolve network-related service calls and problems, including troubleshooting, configuring, installing, documenting, and sustaining project infrastructure.
• Maintain Networking Services documentation and act as the liaison with information technology service providers for interface and customization needs.
• Research new products, manage internal Network Services projects, proactively resolve risks, and conduct technology and infrastructure risk analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
• At least three years of Information Technology experience involving networking technologies is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work across all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
