Civil Rights Attorney (AI)

Location: Remote; active bar admission must be held in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Salary: $140–$400 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze civil rights statutes, regulations, and case law for accuracy and relevance.
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, memoranda, and legal analyses.
• Develop and review realistic civil rights scenarios and legal hypotheticals.
• Evaluate AI-generated legal content and provide feedback on accuracy and legal standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to clarify legal concepts and resolve ambiguities.
• Create clear legal content and identify emerging civil rights, AI, and technology-platform risks.

Requirements

• Substantial experience practicing civil rights law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and case law analysis skills, particularly in complex matters.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and ability to communicate legal concepts clearly.
• Ability to assess complex legal issues and provide precise, well-supported analysis.

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience at a prominent BigLaw firm.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary or technology-driven environments.
• Interest in the intersection of civil rights, public policy, and emerging technologies, particularly AI.
• Prior AI experience is not required.
