Legal Expert (AI)

Location: Hybrid, Paris, France

Salary: €45,000–€60,000 gross per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building an AI platform for legal work used by more than 20,000 legal professionals across Europe.

What you will do

• Shape, test, and validate new legal product features, applying legal judgment to assess accuracy, consistency, and practical usefulness.
• Own processes for keeping legal databases updated and internally consistent as laws, case law, and regulations evolve.
• Collect feedback from practicing lawyers and translate it into actionable product input.
• Collaborate with data annotators and AI Engineers to create validation and training datasets and improve structured AI outputs for legal requests.
• Work with partners and law firms to prioritize data acquisition, identify authoritative sources, and assess strategic partnerships.
• Own legal domains such as civil, commercial, labour, privacy, or banking, while defining best practices for the function.

Requirements

• French law degree at Master 2 level or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, preferably in civil law.
• Fluent French and English.
• Strong analytical rigor and attention to detail.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate legal requirements for technical teams.
• Curiosity about AI and legal technology, with willingness to learn how LLMs and legal data work together; prior technical or AI experience is not required.
• Interest in pursuing an alternative career path outside traditional legal practice in a fast-growing, high-ownership environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in Legal Engineering, Product Management, or Program Management.
• Master's degree in Law & Technology.
