Software Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Lake Oswego, Oregon, United States; hybrid with 4 days in-office; 15% travel required.

Salary: $170,600–$234,600 per year; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Deploy agentic AI coding tools, context engineering practices, and multi-agent orchestration patterns across the product development lifecycle.
• Architect shared infrastructure, evaluation tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to improve code quality, security, and developer velocity.
• Review AI-generated output, establish system guardrails, and turn prototypes into production-grade platform solutions.
• Hire, coach, manage performance, mentor engineers, and support career development within an agile engineering team.
• Collaborate with product, security, and enterprise data teams to align engineering strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

• Experience leading software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development in agile environments.
• Strong object-oriented programming background with deep proficiency in C#/.NET and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Hands-on experience deploying agentic AI tools across planning, development, and delivery stages in enterprise environments.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, API development, ETL workflows, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical execution with people leadership and apply ethical AI principles.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing agentic RAG and multi-agent orchestration architectures within legacy enterprise systems.
• Experience modernizing high-scale SaaS or ERP platforms in the construction or industrial technology sector.
