Senior Fullstack Developer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, candidates must be based in the UK; an office is available for optional on-site work and in-person collaboration.

Salary: £70,000–£85,000 per annum; the role summary also states a base salary of up to £90,000 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance features across the core platform and React-based editor for web, desktop, cloud, and edge applications.
• Build and maintain robust, scalable solutions with React and Node.js.
• Collaborate with designers, Unity developers, and engineers on new functionality.
• Contribute to technical planning, product discovery, sprint reviews, and Agile development activities.
• Help shape system architecture, document technical decisions, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Investigate application issues, troubleshoot defects, improve cloud API performance, and support secure, reliable applications.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing applications with React and Node.js.
• Experience with AI technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering, AI APIs, and integrations.
• Good understanding of Python.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQLite.
• Knowledge of ORMs, ideally TypeORM.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and containerisation technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, application architecture, and API development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, LangChain, agentic patterns, or MCP.
• Experience developing desktop applications with Electron.
• Familiarity with Material UI and Storybook.
• Exposure to Unity, WebGL, or similar interactive technologies.
• Previous experience with immersive technology, virtual reality, or interactive digital platforms.
