Platform Architect - Agentic Trust (AI)

Location: United States - Field; other location: United Kingdom - Field

Base pay: $251,672–$369,119 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the Agentic Trust Layer reference architecture, roadmap, principles, standards, governance, and dependency contracts across product lines.
• Own architectures for the Agent Passport, workload identity, delegated authorization, Evidence Ledger and Replay, policy enforcement, continuous authentication, and content provenance.
• Serve as design authority and technical gate for Agentic Trust Layer build tracks, chair architecture and boundary review forums, and arbitrate cross-functional scope conflicts.
• Guide cloud, cryptographic infrastructure, agent runtime, confidential computing, post-quantum readiness, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Partner with executives, product, engineering, cybersecurity, business, and standards organizations to align technology investments with business and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor architects and senior technology professionals and represent hirify.global in standards bodies, analyst engagements, design-partner sessions, and strategic customer reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 7+ years leading enterprise architecture programs or platform and security architecture for identity, cryptography, or trust infrastructure products and large-scale technology transformations.
• Deep applied expertise in cryptography and public key infrastructure, including certificate authorities, key lifecycle and custody, hardware security modules, signing services, and hardware roots of trust.
• Working expertise in workload identity, including SPIFFE/SPIRE, SVIDs, and mutual TLS, plus delegated authorization such as OAuth 2.x, token exchange, externalized policy, PBAC, and ABAC.
• Experience designing tamper-evident or append-only verifiable systems, such as Merkle-backed logs, Certificate Transparency, or equivalent transparency-log constructs.
• Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including confidential computing and external or customer-managed key management.
• Experience shipping products under third-party assurance regimes such as FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, eIDAS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP, with certification evidence treated as an engineering deliverable.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders, drive strategic decisions, and lead cross-functional teams in complex global organizations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience deploying and securing generative AI and LLM solutions at enterprise scale.
• Knowledge of agentic AI architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, MCP, agent-to-agent interoperability, x402, AP2, and delegated-mandate rails.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra Agent ID, Agent 365, Google’s SPIFFE-based agent identity work, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, and Okta cross-app access.
• AI, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture certifications.
• Experience in highly regulated financial services or insurance industries.
• Contributor or maintainer standing in SPIFFE/SPIRE, Sigstore, Certificate Transparency, or similar open trust-infrastructure communities.
