Legal Counsel (Commercial Law)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work 2 days a week at the UK headquarters in Nottingham.

What you will do

• Provide legal support and pragmatic commercial advice across the business.
• Lead, draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts in the UK and internationally.
• Advise on higher-risk areas including consumer law, sale of goods, and competition law.
• Build relationships with internal teams and explain complex legal matters in clear, practical language.
• Support confident business decisions by reducing risk and maintaining pace in a changing environment.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor.
• Strong commercial legal experience.
• Strong understanding of current commercial law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ability to work independently, operate at pace, and adapt quickly to a changing business environment.
• Ability to deliver consistent, accurate, high-quality work and communicate clearly in plain English.
• Pragmatic approach to reducing risk and supporting business needs.
