Legal Counsel (iGaming)

Location: Remote, Isle of Man

Company

A global social casino and gaming business creates Free-to-Play products and interactive entertainment experiences for players worldwide.

What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and close commercial contracts, including vendor agreements and high-value partnerships.
• Advise internal commercial, product, and other business teams by translating complex legal issues into actionable guidance.
• Lead legal risk management, identify exposure, and develop controls to protect the organisation during growth.
• Support global expansion through jurisdiction-specific regulatory analysis, licensing frameworks, and cross-border compliance.
• Oversee corporate governance, including board support, statutory filings, and record-keeping.
• Manage external counsel relationships and build internal legal capability through training, policies, and scalable templates.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in the UK or equivalent, with 3–5+ years of post-qualification experience and meaningful in-house exposure.
• Background in technology, gaming, or a fast-paced digital business.
• Broad commercial law experience covering contracts, intellectual property, data protection, regulatory compliance, and corporate matters.
• Experience managing the full contract lifecycle while working directly with commercial and product teams.
• Ability to operate across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments simultaneously.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and clear communication skills.
• Solutions-first approach, including early problem identification, rapid proposal of fixes, and appropriate escalation.
