Internship HR - Corporate Recruitment (Retail)

Location: Hilversum, Netherlands; hybrid work with up to 2 work-from-home days per week for 40-hour internships. The internship starts in September 2026, lasts 5 months, and requires availability for the full duration.

Internship allowance: €450 gross per month. Travel allowance: up to €23 per day, subject to eligibility for the free Student OV Chipcard.

What you will do

• Support hiring managers with end-to-end corporate recruitment processes and maintain continuous contact with candidates and hiring managers.
• Own recruitment for the Best Internship in Retail program together with another recruitment intern.
• Help run and coordinate the Best Internship in Retail program, including events and serving as a first point of contact for fellow interns.
• Participate in global and local recruitment projects to improve processes, candidate experience, and cooperation with hiring managers.
• Prepare recruitment reporting, analytics, and improvement advice.
• Support campus recruitment events and employer branding initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at HBO level or a master's degree program for the full duration of the internship.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Well organized, proactive, able to plan, and possessing a can-do mentality.
• Confident, approachable, and comfortable engaging with new people and building relationships.
• Passionate about HR, corporate recruitment, and working with people.
• Must be an EU citizen, hold a Family/Partner visa, or be a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands whose internship is mandatory in the curriculum or whose university can sign a Nuffic Agreement.

Nice to have

• First experience in recruitment, HR, or project management through an internship, apprenticeship, or job.
