Inventory Specialist (IT Asset Management)

Location: Fully onsite at a facility or warehouse in the Fort Belvoir, VA area; candidates must reside within a commutable distance. US citizenship and a Secret clearance with Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation are required.

Salary: $60,000+ annually.

What you will do

• Maintain accountability and lifecycle records for more than 10,000 network hardware, software, license, and supporting equipment assets.
• Enter and validate asset information in ServiceNow IT Asset Management and related inventory systems, reconcile discrepancies, and generate audit documentation.
• Perform monthly inventory validations and annual physical inventories.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, staging, packaging, shipment, transfer, return, replacement, and RMA activities for approximately 500 annual CONUS and OCONUS shipments.
• Prepare shipping labels, packing documentation, international customs paperwork, procurement packages, and equipment tracking records.
• Manage warehouse space, support emergency shipments and remote configurations, and coordinate compliant disposal of end-of-life equipment using approved agency processes and Electronic Turn-In Documents.

Requirements

• Five years of relevant experience.
• Three years of experience entering asset information into and extracting reports from automated inventory tracking systems.
• Two years of experience performing physical inventories.
• High School Diploma.
• US Citizenship.
• Secret clearance with Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation.
• Ability to work extended hours at a computer in an office environment and in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to use ladders and scissor lifts and lift or place boxes and devices weighing 40 pounds.
