Data Research Analyst - German and/or Dutch Speaker (Financial Data)

Location: Madrid, Spain. Hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration each week; in most locations, the model requires four days in the office per week.

Base salary: EUR 29,000–39,000 per year, plus a 5% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Collaborate with global data teams and local business representatives to deliver accurate and timely financial data across global markets.
• Develop expertise in investment data points, methodologies, calculations, processes, and different fund structures.
• Manage relationships with fund companies, connect with data providers, establish acquisition channels, and act as an escalation point.
• Collect and maintain data while meeting production deadlines and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and coverage.
• Evaluate procedures, improve analytical tools, document client use cases, and implement process improvement projects.
• Own data ticket resolution, translate internal client requests into written specifications and user stories, and coordinate issue resolution with internal partners.

Requirements

• Fluent English and a minimum of two other languages; the role specifically seeks German and/or Dutch speakers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, local business representatives, providers, and internal clients.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of financial industry and investment data quality, methodologies, and processes.
• Ability to organize and manage high volumes of data while meeting predetermined deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Organizational skills, a proactive approach, and ability to handle complex cross-functional projects.
• Ability to build relationships, address client needs, and communicate with diverse international stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Previous project management experience.
• Experience with operational and performance data.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as LEAN Six Sigma.
