Director, Business Intelligence

Location: ESP - Madrid, Castellana; hybrid work with attendance 8 days per month. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the recruitment process.

hirify.global hosts a Global Revenue Operations function requiring a new Business Intelligence capability.

What you will do

• Define and execute the Business Intelligence strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Global Revenue Operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of BI and analytics professionals.
• Deliver executive dashboards, scorecards, reporting, analytical products, and actionable recommendations on revenue performance.
• Establish consistent KPIs, business definitions, reporting standards, governance, quality controls, security, lineage, and auditability.
• Oversee data models, semantic layers, cubes, dimensions, ETL/ELT workflows, source-system integrations, and BI solution delivery.
• Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, FP&A, Accounting, IT, and Data Engineering, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Data Technology, Accounting, or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, data strategy, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations.
• Proven experience leading and developing BI, data, or analytics teams.
• Demonstrated success building or transforming a BI capability in a complex global organisation.
• Proficiency in Data 360, Snowflake, and data lakes.
• Experience with BI strategy, capability building, operating-model design, people leadership, executive dashboards, scorecards, and data visualisation.
• Knowledge of data modelling, semantic layers, cubes, dimensions, SQL, data querying, ETL/ELT, data governance, quality controls, and metric definition.
• Experience with commercial, financial, and operational analytics, root-cause analysis, executive communication, analytical storytelling, stakeholder management, prioritisation, delivery leadership, change management, self-service enablement, platform optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced analytics and practical application of AI, together with high agency, adaptability, and a strong delivery focus.
