Data Research Analyst (Financial Data)

Location: Madrid, Spain. Hybrid work environment with four days in-office each week.

Base salary: EUR 29,000–39,000 annually. Target bonus: 5% annually.

What you will do

• Collaborate with global data teams and local business representatives to maintain accurate, complete, and timely financial data across global markets.
• Manage relationships with fund companies and data providers, establish acquisition channels, and act as an escalation point.
• Build expertise in investment data points, methodologies, calculations, processes, and fund structures.
• Monitor data ticket queues, investigate complex issues, provide updates, and coordinate timely resolution.
• Evaluate procedures, improve analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Translate internal client requests into written specifications and user stories, and improve and document client use cases.

Requirements

• Fluent English and fluency in at least two additional languages, including Thai, Japanese, or Korean.
• Strong collaboration and client-focus skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse international teams.
• Passion for the financial industry and investment data, with a solid understanding of data quality, methodologies, and processes.
• Ability to organize and manage high volumes of data while meeting predetermined production deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and proactive problem-solving skills.
