Multilingual Senior Data Research Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Madrid; hybrid work with in-office collaboration each week, typically four days in the office.

Base salary: EUR 38,000–50,000 per year; 7.5% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead initiatives to improve the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and coverage of investment data.
• Act as a data expert on fund structures, methodologies, and calculations.
• Build and maintain relationships with data providers, establish acquisition channels, and handle escalations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues and manage high-volume workflows under strict deadlines.
• Apply LEAN Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes and analytical tools.
• Translate internal client requests into detailed specifications and user stories for product enhancements.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and at least two additional European languages: German, French, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.
• Strong understanding of investment data, methodologies, and fund structures.
• Experience delivering high-quality financial data and resolving complex data challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data quality methodologies.
• Strong project management skills and a process-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage high volumes of data, meet strict deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
