Finance Manager - Homes Analysis & Insight (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site in Bristol, Cardiff, Halifax, or Leeds, UK.

Salary: £67,023–£74,470 per year.

What you will do

• Turn financial information and analysis into actionable insight on product performance, challenge assumptions, and support informed decision-making.
• Own the Homes external reporting process, applying rigorous data controls and preparing commentary for quarterly disclosures and market updates.
• Partner with Group Corporate Treasury on hedging activity and assess its impact on product margins.
• Provide financial and product expertise to assess, prioritise, and deliver capital optimisation initiatives.
• Build stakeholder relationships across Finance and the Business while providing constructive challenge aligned with strategic goals.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• 3+ years of Finance experience, including financial planning, forecasting, and analysis within a Financial Services setting.
• 3+ years of experience preparing and presenting financial insights, management information, or executive-level reporting within a complex organisation.
• Strong analytical skills, including interpreting complex financial data, identifying trends, and turning analysis into meaningful insight.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information for all organisational levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure while delivering accurate output, prioritising multiple deadlines, and maintaining high accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and build trusted relationships with Finance and Business colleagues.
• Curiosity to learn and grow and openness to being challenged by new opportunities.
