Workday Digital Product Owner - Time (Workday)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid working environment.

Salary: €49,600–€74,400 per year.

What you will do

• Own product decisions, budget planning, service requests, and portfolio management for Workday Time Tracking and regional or local time systems.
• Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking, including time templates, time calculations, advanced calculated fields, and related payroll earning and deduction data.
• Coordinate HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Digital stakeholders, prioritizing requirements and serving as the primary contact.
• Manage third-party time and attendance vendors, including SLAs, performance reviews, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with working-time legislation, labor laws, collective agreements, and GDPR across supported countries.
• Lead upgrades, regulatory changes, testing, adoption monitoring, incident management, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HR technology, time and attendance systems, or digital product management in multinational environments, including regional or global Time Tracking solutions.
• Workday Time Tracking certification and prerequisite Core HCM certification; noncertified candidates must demonstrate significant years of strictly Workday Time Tracking experience.
• At least one full-cycle Time Tracking implementation as an independent configuration consultant or subject matter expert.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM integrations and time-to-payroll data flows, preferably across multiple countries.
• At least one year of hands-on Tier 3/L3 Support experience specifically in the Workday Time Tracking domain.
• Experience influencing stakeholders across HR, Legal, Finance, and IT in matrix organizations, including third-party vendor and SLA management.
• Knowledge of multi-country working-time requirements, local directives, shift regulations, collective agreements, and data privacy frameworks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and end-to-end product lifecycle oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or Business Administration; Workday Core HCM Admin and Time Tracking certifications are required.
• Strong English communication skills for global collaboration.
