What you will do

• Build and maintain enterprise-scale backend microservices.
• Lead architectural decisions, design discussions, and system optimization.
• Design reliable event-driven services and REST/gRPC APIs with backward compatibility and versioning.
• Develop Azure DevOps pipelines and manage modern deployment strategies.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Mentor colleagues and communicate complex technical concepts across diverse audiences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend software development experience, including experience building and maintaining microservices at enterprise scale.
• Expert-level proficiency in .NET 8+ and C# 12+, including async/await, LINQ, performance tuning, and reflection.
• Strong Dapper and EF Core experience, including ORM trade-offs and performance tuning.
• Advanced SQL Server skills, including query tuning, indexing, execution plans, and statistics; understanding of ACID, isolation levels, deadlocks, sharding, and partitioning is beneficial.
• Experience with microservices design, event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus, and REST/gRPC API design.
• Advanced Azure DevOps pipeline design and release management, plus understanding of blue-green and canary deployments.
• Deep experience with testing automation across all testing layers, SOLID principles, design patterns, refactoring, performance profiling, optimization, and complex debugging.
• Experience leading incident response, post-mortems, and operational improvements.
• Strong technical communication, ownership, adaptability, collaboration, attention to detail, and resilience under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch indexing, search performance, and aggregation optimization.
• Experience with logging, tracing, and performance monitoring using OpenTelemetry.
