Graduate Electrical Hdwr Engineer I

Location: Hybrid in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States; work from an HPE office an average of 2 days per week.

Salary: USD 65,200–150,500 annual base salary in Wisconsin; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Design portions of electrical and electronic engineering solutions, including components, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms, according to established principles and specifications.
• Implement test plans for existing designs, validating tolerances, form, fit, function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
• Support the development of reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for low- to moderately complex products.
• Collaborate with electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners on hardware design and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 0–2 years of experience.
• Experience with or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of electronic component design, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
• Understanding of the thermal and electromagnetic properties of materials and emissions management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with mastery of English and the local language.
