Project Manager - Delivery (EV Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid, Sydney, Australia, across Sydney CBD, Sydney Olympic Park and Smithfield offices, with occasional travel to project sites as required.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects from site feasibility and design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects against agreed timelines, budgets, quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across site acquisition, engineering, design, construction and operations.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, risk registers, governance artefacts and status reporting.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, risks, dependencies, contractors, suppliers and third-party service providers.
• Conduct site visits, audits and safety observations, provide project performance insights, and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering multiple concurrent projects in the EV, electrical, telecommunications, infrastructure or related industries.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle from feasibility and planning through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong financial governance, budgeting, commercial management, project governance, reporting and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and external delivery partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative, hands-on team environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and intermediate Microsoft Project capability.
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements in construction, electrical, telecommunications or infrastructure environments, and ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Nice to have

• Electrical, construction management or relevant trade qualifications.
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience interpreting electrical and construction drawings and designs.
• Experience working with Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) across different Australian states and regions.
