Sr. Manager, Finance Business Partner (Gaming)

Location: Culver City, California, United States; hybrid work with 3 days per week from the hub.

Annual base salary: $137,000–$202,000 USD for candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA. Equity, bonuses, healthcare, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, hirify.global free days, and unlimited paid time off may also be available.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across corporate functions including COO/CPO, Business Development, Corporate Development, IT & Facilities, Legal, and other G&A teams.
• Design, maintain, and improve methodologies for allocating more than $160 million in annual shared-services costs across game teams.
• Partner with senior leaders across the COO, CPO, CRO, CLO, and CFO organizations, providing financial insights and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with game-team FP&A partners, FinOps, and Accounting to improve financial data, close, reporting, forecasting, and allocation processes.
• Manage, delegate to, coach, and develop two finance professionals.
• Build scalable financial models, reporting tools, and automated workflows while communicating complex financial information and managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or a related field, including some people-management experience.
• Experience working in large, complex organizations and managing financial priorities across multiple functions and senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and analytical skills, including experience improving financial tools, models, or reporting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop scalable financial processes and introduce automation that reduces repetitive manual work.
• Experience partnering with senior executives, influencing decisions, and building consensus across teams without direct reporting authority.
• Experience managing, coaching, and developing finance professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong judgment, proactive stakeholder management, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining financial accuracy and accountability.

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle, or similar enterprise financial systems.
• Experience supporting Legal, IT, or Corporate Development functions from a finance role.
• Familiarity with AI tools for modeling, reporting, or analysis.
• Experience in gaming, technology, or other high-growth industries.
