Company

hirify.global is a large technology and consulting corporation developing hybrid cloud, AI, quantum computing, and blockchain solutions.

What you will do

  • Set architecture and engineering standards for corporate IT cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including account structures, networking, guardrails, cost controls, risk hygiene, and legacy environment hardening.
  • Define infrastructure-as-code and GitOps patterns using Terraform, Atlantis, Argo, and Semaphore, including modules, pull-request controls, drift detection, and safe rollout practices.
  • Architect secure remote access and network connectivity across standard and FedRAMP environments, including VPN, zero trust access, routing, allowlisting, and egress IP management.
  • Set standards for automation, orchestration, secrets, workload identity, core cloud services, Kubernetes, databases, DNS, load balancing, TLS, logging, monitoring, GitHub Enterprise, and VDI.
  • Drive security posture, incident response, compliance controls, audit evidence, and investigations with Trust & Security.
  • Lead cross-functional architecture, integration, consolidation, and build-versus-buy initiatives; mentor engineers and establish expectations for on-call, incident response, documentation, and operational handoff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems, cloud, infrastructure, security, or platform engineering, with staff-level technical leadership and organization-wide outcomes.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud, preferably AWS, plus working expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including networking, hardening, account or project structure, and large-scale cleanup or consolidation.
  • Strong experience designing Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code modules and pipelines at scale with pull-request controls, policy checks, Atlantis, Argo, or comparable tools.
  • Experience with VPN, ZTNA, SASE, routing, allowlisting, egress NAT, DNS, and segmented or FedRAMP environments.
  • Ability to design maintainable, tested automation in Python, Go, or shell and operate orchestration and CI platforms such as Rundeck, Semaphore, Workato, Cloud Run, or Cloud Functions.
  • Working knowledge of Vault or comparable secrets platforms, service-account lifecycle, workload identity federation, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
  • Production experience operating Kubernetes, preferably GKE, managed databases, DNS, load balancers, TLS, observability, and capacity practices.
  • Strong incident-management and troubleshooting skills, including on-call practices, PagerDuty, logging and monitoring, SIEM alerts, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting technical controls and evidence for FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks, with understanding of least privilege and JIT access; ability to lead multi-quarter initiatives, communicate tradeoffs, and mentor engineers.
  • Must be able to work without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience leading infrastructure or IT integration through an acquisition or large-scale reorganization.
  • Experience leading zero trust or network access transformations across standard and regulated environments.
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise governance, Azure Virtual Desktop or other VDI platforms, SSPM or CSPM tooling, Okta, Entra ID, or IGA tooling.
  • Experience building self-service IT capabilities that replace ticket-driven requests.
  • AWS, Azure, GCP, CKA, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative, inclusive environment working across time zones and backgrounds.
  • Healthcare, dental, vision, mental health, life insurance, disability coverage, and financial programs including 401(k) and pension benefits.
  • Paid time off including holidays, sick time, vacation, parental bonding leave, and other paid care leave.
  • AI-driven learning resources, training, educational support, and certification opportunities.
  • Employee resource groups, volunteering opportunities, and product and service discounts.
