Project Manager, Strategic Projects (SaaS)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $97,200–$109,000 USD annually for USA-based candidates; additional bonuses, commissions, equity, or incentive programs may be available.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and ownership assignments.
• Coordinate activities, dependencies, and handoffs across Product, Technology, Customer Success, Support, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Identify, document, monitor, and escalate project risks, blockers, issues, and dependencies.
• Maintain project documentation, progress trackers, action logs, status reports, agendas, decisions, and action items.
• Track deliverables and deadlines across multiple projects and workstreams, communicating potential delays and supporting resolution.
• Improve project tracking, reporting accuracy, repeatable practices, and appropriate automation.

Requirements

• Practical experience managing projects, coordinating workstreams, or supporting complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience developing and maintaining project plans, tracking milestones, organizing deliverables, and managing competing deadlines.
• Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions, aligning activities, communicating updates, and maintaining ownership of next steps.
• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including risk and issue tracking, dependency management, status reporting, and escalation processes.
• Ability to structure changing priorities or incomplete information, identify needed clarification, and make progress while seeking guidance when appropriate.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to facilitate productive discussions and collaborate respectfully.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Product, Technology, SaaS, or customer-facing initiatives.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, waterfall, or hybrid project delivery approaches.
• Experience preparing project dashboards, leadership updates, or structured reporting.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools or workflow automation for project documentation, reporting, and coordination, with appropriate review for accuracy and confidentiality.
• CAPM, PMP, Scrum, or comparable project management certification.
