Sr Manager, Procurement Sourcing (Semiconductor)

Location: Farmers Branch, TX; regular day shift. The role is onsite and supports manufacturing operations across global facilities.

What you will do

• Execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including precision machined components, advanced materials, MEMS-related inputs, capital equipment, and indirect spend.
• Lead supplier qualification, capability validation, contract negotiation support, pricing alignment, and commercial terms execution.
• Manage strategic and high-risk supplier relationships, monitor delivery, quality, and cost performance, and drive corrective actions and risk mitigation.
• Support probe card and systems manufacturing across wafer fab, MEMS processing, assembly, and test, ensuring availability of specialty metals, ceramics, substrates, and precision machined components.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, capacity expansion, production ramp readiness, and shortage prevention with Planning and Operations.
• Lead a team of buyers, sourcing specialists, or category managers and build capability in sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and analytics.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years with a Master’s degree, or 5 years with a PhD, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in category management, materials procurement, manufacturing supply chain, inventory planning, and supplier performance management.
• Experience with contract negotiations, cost optimization, total cost of ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting precision manufacturing, probe cards, semiconductor manufacturing, NPI, and production readiness.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems, data analysis, procurement KPIs, and process improvement.
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Planning, Finance, and Logistics.
• People leadership, performance management, problem solving, and team development experience.
