Sr. Consultant, Infrastructure Management (SRE)

What you will do

• Lead production application support within the Lending Domain and apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve application resiliency.
• Provide technical leadership for complex application support, maintenance, implementation plans, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with technology teams, business partners, management, QA, project teams, and internal and external clients.
• Assess automation opportunities and support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and maintenance updates.
• Resolve complex production issues, act as an escalation point, participate in post-mortems, identify root causes, and define recurrence-prevention actions.
• Develop training materials and deliver training to strengthen Application Operations capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Feedhub, Autosys, Shell scripting, and DB2.
• Knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, HTTP/S, and SSH.
• Knowledge of ITIL incident, problem, and change management.
• Understanding of software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and inductive thinking, critical thinking, relationship-building, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to work with business and technology partners, senior management, and internal and external clients.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of WebLogic, WebSphere, UrbanCode, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, DevOps, deployment, and automation.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Agile environments, automation, and DevOps.
