Site Reliability Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: Ottawa, Canada; hybrid, with at least three office days per week if based in Ottawa. Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident due to CGRP security requirements.

Salary: CAD 27.04–39.66 per hour.

What you will do

• Deliver SaaS services to global customers while meeting service-level agreements.
• Deploy, upgrade, and support applications, services, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and application health.
• Own the incident resolution process and maintain service availability.
• Work collaboratively on production operations, security, confidentiality, and additional projects as required.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in computer science or a related discipline.
• Have strong troubleshooting skills.
• Have working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident due to CGRP security requirements.
• Be enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of remote system administration and system performance monitoring.
• Understanding of modern SaaS technologies.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Ansible.
