Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Internship - Warp Speed (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; on-site work from an office. Travel to client sites may be required up to 25%.

Salary: $10,000/month.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers on software architecture and design decisions.
• Work with massive-scale data and use AI to improve critical manufacturing operations.
• Develop and deploy custom applications tailored to customer needs.
• Engage directly with customer stakeholders, including technical teams and executives.
• Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects from ideation through deployment and help shape team strategy.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status is required.
• Must be graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or a similar programming language.
• Analytical approach and eagerness to solve technical problems using data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Experience with or curiosity about using large-scale data to solve valuable business problems.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical individuals in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives and iterative work with users.
• Ability and interest to travel to client sites up to 25%, as needed, with flexibility based on personal preferences.
