Forward Deployed Software Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Base salary: $120,000–$200,000 per year; stock options may be offered in addition.

Develops an intelligence infrastructure platform providing access to open-source and proprietary AI models, optimized model inference, and AI solutions for content safety, deepfake detection, sponsorship intelligence, and IP and publicity protection.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact solutions and full-scale integrations for strategic enterprise customers.
• Serve as a primary customer contact, resolve urgent technical support issues, and maintain proactive communication with client stakeholders.
• Translate customer business and product ideas into engineering solutions through coding, implementation, and software architecture.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to influence priorities, product direction, and roadmap development.
• Define customer success metrics, KPIs, and adoption strategies; monitor usage, engagement, retention risks, and progress.
• Create internal documentation, playbooks, and enablement content while reporting security or policy violations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of software engineering experience.
• Professional experience supporting technical customers and iterating solutions in real time.
• Strong engineering background with proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and API integrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience engaging business and technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
