Market Research Team Leader

Location: Remote - United States; alternatively based in Washington, DC, New York, NY, or Chicago, IL

Salary: $93,300–$150,100 per year, with a midpoint of $121,700; additional variable compensation and equity grant may apply.

What you will do

• Own client relationships across accounts of varying sizes and build relationships with client and executive stakeholders.
• Create research strategies that embed hirify.global data into client workflows and support account growth, renewals, and proposals.
• Manage large and complex research projects and programs, personally and through direct reports, while aligning delivery with contracted scope.
• Advise prospects and clients on survey design, research methodologies, and approaches for answering business questions.
• Establish and execute strategic initiatives with senior leaders at the portfolio and commercial levels.
• Coach, mentor, delegate to, and develop direct and non-direct reports while supporting talent decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in quantitative market research.
• Experience with survey research and its methods, strategic consultation, project planning, and delivering high-quality, timely project deliverables.
• Significant experience managing clients and driving account-level revenue growth.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate according to impact, maintain focus on business objectives during change, and translate strategic priorities into clear direction.
• Ability to drive project teams toward the best output from available capacity.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop talent and promote a positive work experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and decision-making skills supported by domain expertise.
• High attention to detail, strong technical standards, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to simplify complex scenarios.
• Feedback orientation, proactive identification of inefficiencies and barriers, and willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Nice to have

• Proven experience in global brand tracking and/or brand and communication research.
• Experience leveraging research insights to support and shape strategic initiatives.
• Non-traditional or diverse professional backgrounds are welcomed even when every listed qualification is not met.
