Lead Business Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid flex in Chicago, IL, with other listed locations in Downers Grove, IL; Helena, MT; Albuquerque, NM; Tulsa, OK; and Richardson, TX. Flex employees must work in the office at least three days per week.

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually. An annual incentive bonus plan may also apply.

What you will do

• Lead the alignment and integration of Individual and Family Markets regulatory filing activities.
• Support Qualified Health Plan plan management filings related to the Affordable Care Act, healthcare reform, and cross-functional processes.
• Analyze and execute internal and external requirements while helping prioritize IFM activities.
• Track program milestones and progress toward goals, recommending adjustments to program leadership.
• Lead, coach, and mentor teams and junior resources across complex projects in a matrixed environment.
• Communicate with senior management and executive leadership, including preparing and delivering presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or 11 years of experience, in project management, business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, product administration, or another relevant healthcare function.
• At least 4 years of experience leading large and complex projects.
• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams and more junior resources.
• Experience communicating with senior management and executive leadership across multiple divisions.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends, with experience interpreting business information.
• Strong verbal and written communication, relationship-building, organizational, analytical, negotiation, detail-orientation, and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage and delegate assignments across multiple complex projects in a matrixed environment.
• PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.

• Experience driving personalization efforts at a large organization.
• Experience monitoring initiative impacts against a personalization maturity curve and connecting them to enterprise outcomes.

• Ability to drive decisions, create optionality, and determine the impacts of different options.
• Ability to articulate and prepare presentations for all levels covering data, options, and recommendations.
