Field Application Engineer (Data Center Solutions)

Location: Remote in the Central US; travel approximately 30% mainly across the US and occasionally Latin America. The role is posted in multiple locations, but only one hire will be made.

Total target cash range: $96,300–$205,400+ annually, depending on geographic region; may include annual incentives.

What you will do

• Serve as a domain authority for hirify.global Data Center Solutions products across Sales, Product Management, Operations, and related functions in the Central US and Latin America.
• Provide first-line technical product support to customers and colleagues and assist with applications for new products and services.
• Evaluate customer RFQs, develop technical and commercial costing and quotes, and prepare proposals for non-standard products using CPQ and ERP systems.
• Identify modified and engineered products based on customer specifications, prepare compliance documentation, and support projects during the closing phase.
• Conduct customer product training and distributor training on quoting tools; review technical training materials for accuracy.
• Lead product improvement, cost reduction, product consolidation, and new product development projects while providing market intelligence and customer feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering, or equivalent work experience in data center infrastructure, design, and construction.
• Ability to work 100% remotely in the Central US and travel approximately 30% mainly across the US and occasionally Latin America.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in a technical applications role supporting data center product solutions.
• Strong technical background in power and air and liquid cooling solutions in the data center space is helpful.
• Understanding of data center power and cooling architecture from UPS to rack/equipment level is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mentality.
• Highly preferred: English and Spanish language proficiency.
