Assurance Managing Director (Audit)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; additional locations in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania; Wilmington, Delaware; and Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. Work location status should be confirmed with the talent acquisition professional.

Salary: $201,810–$382,600 annually.

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused assurance and consulting services as a trusted member of client engagement teams.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals, assess challenges, and provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations.
• Develop and implement testing for internal control deficiencies, recommend improvements, and manage fieldwork for quality and timely delivery.
• Manage engagement staffing, billings, collections, and client profitability targets.
• Generate new client and project opportunities, collaborate across service lines, and strengthen trusted-advisor relationships.
• Mentor and develop team members while participating in firm-wide learning and development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; a master's or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of financial statement auditing experience in a professional services firm, preferably in life sciences, technology, and/or manufacturing.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates, desired.
• Management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, maintain applicable technical knowledge, understand both strategic context and detail, demonstrate ethical judgment, and complete quality work on time.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship preferred.
