Accounting Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Rotate through operational finance areas, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and supplier/vendor management.
• Develop working knowledge of financial enterprise resource planning systems and key financial processes.
• Assist with preparing journal entries and customer invoices.
• Process invoices and participate in twice-weekly payment runs.
• Participate in fixed asset audits and complete ad hoc accounting projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• Available year-round.

Nice to have

• Previous exposure to accounting through coursework or work experience.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
