Accounting Intern (2027)

Location: Hybrid in Libertyville, Illinois, United States; interns must work in the Libertyville office at least 4 days per week and be able to commute during the internship. Relocation or paid housing is not provided.

Salary: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on education and skills.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain specialized reports using SAP, BPC, and banking applications.
• Perform month-end close activities and daily bank reconciliations.
• Assist with consolidated financial statement preparation, intercompany transactions, and consolidation eliminations.
• Identify process improvements and support automation and compliance projects.
• Document accounting processes and procedures.
• Assist with customer inquiries regarding past-due invoices and other assigned accounting activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Completed at least the sophomore year of college.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Excel skills; advanced Access skills are also expected.
• Analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to commute to the Libertyville office during the internship.
